After 17 years of service to the Washington DC community, the Daniel DiTondo Foundation will be closing its doors. Thank you for your continued support of our work.
The Daniel DiTondo Foundation is a volunteer-run non-profit devoted to fostering arts programs and access to higher education in the Washington, DC metro area. The foundation was established in 2000, shortly after the death of DC elementary school teacher Daniel DiTondo at the age of 28. Since then, his family and friends have endeavored to continue his work as an educator, artist, and all-around wonderful human being.
This website offers a glimpse into the work we do, and into the personality of our great friend and inspiration, Daniel.
Please take a moment to look around, and, if you can, support our work to enrich the creative and intellectual lives of kids in the Washington, DC metro area.
